Well, I'm all for capping the FMO payment - $200? Seriously, I work with two different MAPD-serving FMOs and I can't imagine what kind of magic tricks they are doing, behind the scenes, to earn even a quarter of that payment. Sure they LOOK like they are doing stuff like offering reduced AHIP training fees or offering "first-looks" and such but come on, the individual agent is doing 99% of the work.
Since I believe in a free market I'm against any caps.
If I received a 20% on the MA premium (as we get on supps) I'd be getting $2,500 per enrollment. Capping the FMO won't help the agent because of CMS rules.
Plus I don't care what anyone earns.
