Why would they refuse to take what every other Medicare-accepting doctor/institution in the country takes?
How can they get away with it?

What does Kaiser Permanente offer?
Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington Options, Inc., offers 4 of the 12 standardized Medicare Supplement (also called Medigap) plans: Plan A, Plan F, Plan K, and Plan N.
Each plan has different benefits, and you have the freedom to choose your own providers without a referral.
Why choose Kaiser Permanente?
Here are just a few of the reasons why many Medicare enrollees choose — and re-enroll in — our plans
Access to the providers you want to see
Kaiser Permanente Medicare Supplement plans provide access to any physician, specialist, and hospital that accepts Medicare, with no referral needed. However, Medicare Supplement members cannot receive care at Kaiser Permanente medical offices.
They actually have the balls to put those 2 sentences together in the same paragraph?
And they have the balls to sell a product that their own flagship institution refuses to honor???
This could be even more Twilight Zone than I thought.

Kaiser isn't an exception. They don't accept Medicare...I definitely learned this the hard way.
For the past year, since I started this endeavor in Medicare, I've heard and read, "Supplement policies eliminate network restrictions and allow you to get healthcare from any provider that accepts Medicare." I've never heard anyone say, "....except for Kaiser."
Yes. It looks weird. If they added "because they do not accept Medicare" after the word "offices" it would be helpful.Thank you. This is from their website:

I believe what you're telling me but that statement on their website makes it a little confusing for a newbie. Thanks again for taking the time to help me!
