My existing MA client is paying WAY too much for his wife’s <65 plan. He’s going back to work and the emp plan will only cover wifey if he is on it (sounds standard). He wants to keep MA plan and take new plan. Possible?

So it is possible to have too much coverage....As far as I’m aware, mapd plans don’t work with employer plans. I remember several years ago a mapd client of mine picked up an employer plan. Few months later he got hospitalized, the mapd nor the employer plan wanted to pay.
