Is any agents here signed up with Coventry & land of lincoln. I know I'm signed up with aetna but do I have to get a separate contract with coventree.

Last I had checked, LoL had not been ready to contract brokers. They were still working on getting networks together, and that was their main focus. It was slightly problematic, to say the least, based upon the few people who were handling the major tasks (only 3-4 people).

Their website, Home | Land of Lincoln Health has a countdown to launch date, but the latest entry at the site (latest news) is dated July 23, 2013. Like you said Stuy119, those 3-4 employees must be focusing only on the major tasks...and their website isn't one of them.

BTW..here's a website for the NASHCO association that all of the state coop's are a member of: http://nashco.org/

I think somebody just now left me a message to contract with Coventry after me calling for about a week. I haven't seen them around in the Chicago market are the competitive?

From what I understand, Aetna is going to be the Chicagoland carrier, and Coventry is going to focus on downstate.

That is correct..unless both of them decide not to participate in the Illinois Exchange. AETNA hasn't communicated any Exchange or 2014 plan strategies to the broker community...which is pretty ominous considering how close we are to launch.

FYI.. Land of Lincoln Health WILL be working with Illinois agents and brokers to market their plans in the state. That section of their site doesn't contain much info yet, but here's the link.

Only Blue Cross and Land of Lincoln will offer exchange-marketplace plans in every Illinois county. Considering this, it would be prudent to contract with Land of Lincoln, in my opinion.

Would someone PLEASE go to the Land of Lincoln Health website at
https://www.landoflincolnhealth.org/ , run a quote for your family and share your thoughts?

I'm seeing $10,000 deductible plans that cost almost the same as $1,000 deductible plans for a family of 4.
$10,000 = $1,127 per month
$1,000 = $1,138 per month

This is one example of several strange items.

Land of Lincoln is paying 5.5%. They will be using the Healthlink network on & off the exchange.
