I use an Ipad for capturing signatures as well as presenting videos for MAPD plans. Be sure to purchase pens that can be used for signing on computers - they are special pens that have a padded tip and they are not very expensive. The last ones I purchased were three for $8.
Sounds like you are doing home visits (F2F).
I generally use a Chromebook. Touchscreen not required when you are 100% phone sales.
Pants not required either.

I am online right now narrowing down on a replacement for my Surface Pro. Battery is shrinking. The Surface is my everyday all day computer I keep in a docking station with bluetooth keyboard and mouse also my second monitor is a 24"

I used my 2n1 laptop when i did f2f now that i only sell over the phone and work from home i just use my custom built gaming pornbox.

I bring my laptop on appointments but am switching to an Ipad soon.
My dress code is jeans, sundresses (in summertime) or capris. No shorts, as I don't want to stick to the couch if it's a FE-only home. Never a mu-mu.
