Anyone have any good experiences with their medicare mailers? Have any bad experiences or low responses with a certain card or combo card?

I've done one drop through them. Got almost 2%. I don't remember the card but Chris could tell you. It was whatever one he recommended.
Decent sales. Not lay downs. Had to work the leads just like any leads. No one was pre-sold just off the card. About 40% of them were on Medicare Advantage so not much good in the spring but still got to get in front of them and fact find.

My local area here has around 30-35% on Medicare Advantage. It's small town and rural.

I did a custom FE Medicare Combo card about 15 months ago -- big waste of cash.
I'd just lead with Medicare and cross-sell FE as needed.

I heard from Bronstein that under 20% is what you should aim for, what do you think of that?

That is way too high of MA penetration to mail to for supps. I'd be shocked if you made your money back on that by selling supps.

20% is too high for me to waste money on a med Supp mailer. I don't think there are many places in OH that are under 20 though.

You are correct Sai, there aren't that many places in Ohio under 20%...its an MA state through and through.
