this happens sometimes where lead inputs wrong number and im able to find correct number searching with whitepages people finder. the correct number is on national DNC list.
can we call even though they clearly wouldn't want us to but did request information?

If they filled out the request then clearly they were looking for the information. By them filling out the request you're good to go, just not more than 90 days past the inquiry date.

whats the deal with inputting the wrong contact #, what are they looking to receive.. free coupons or whatever the offer was to fill out the quote form?

The lead won't sell without a phone number. Some lead vendors (not many) actually verify the phone number.

Many people don't mind getting a quote, but don't want the phone calls, but they have to put in a phone number to get the information. Hence, they put in an incorrect number.

Then there are times when the person is just trying to get a free ipad, ipod, xbox, whatever and really don't care about the quote. They need a valid email, not a valid phone number. These are useless leads.

Then there are times when affiliates buy aged leads and then resubmit them as new leads. Some phone numbers have changed in the 6 months or so since the lead was first submitted.

Take your pick.

Dan has it Right again!

HometownQuotes.com does scrub for correct phone numbers & rejects those leads that don't have one. Still, there are some leads that slip through.

Aged leads being re-submitted as new leads is becoming more of a problem than ever.

I would Retire a Billionaire if I could come up with a filter that worked on Liars & Cheats!!

Ok...good job Dan.
