Leaving insurance pamphlets in doctor's offices

So I am thinking of printing up some Burial insurance brochures offering quality coverage for folks with serious chronic health conditions, and seeing if I can get doctor's offices (especially specialists such as nephrologists and pulmonologists) to allow me (for a fee?) to leave these brochures in their waiting rooms?

Anybody ever tried this? Is it feasible?

How much are you willing to spend to start this. Printing, stands, time, upfront doctor fees, receptionist bribe?

Add all of that up. Send me half. The other half is yours. That 50% is 100% more than you will make otherwise. IMohsoHO

Sooooo, what you're saying is....this isn't the brainstorm of the century? :twitchy:

I doubt they will let you. You're basically asking them to help you market your business. What's in it for them or their patients?

Especially for something like FE. If it was something healthcare related, then maybe.

You can try it and see what happens, but don't get your hopes up. Look into other methods for marketing FE as well.

Buela May - Hi Mildred how did appointment go with that new doctor?

Mildred - you know, I am not real confident in his success rate. They gave me some information on grave insurance, just in case. I just never thought the piles were that serious. I am headed to the Piggly Wiggly for some Prune wine to grease my tubes.

Good one. Like I said, if it was something medical related, maybe.

Have a relative who's a doctor. He's allowed literature, but it has to be something medical related and helpful to the patients. Like some magazines or guides specifically about health, or prenatal vitamins, etc.

But FE, 99.99% sure there's no way.

I have. It’s a complete waste of time. I have four very busy doctor’s offices that I paid a subscription for this year to be the exclusive agent in those offices. All of their waiting room magazines are in a cover with my branding. My cards and brochures are displayed. I won’t repurchase that subscription once it runs out.

But for seven years I was co-branded with the largest hospitals in southern Indiana. That was worth it. I did their educational seminars for them each month. In exchange the hospital’s logo was on my building, business cards, advertising, etc. similar to how AARP logos are on United Healthcare.

That was well worth it. You should approach your local hospitals to see if they have anyone speaking about Medicare for them. Many are looking for that. I had several others call me to see if I would do it for them but they were too far away for me to effectively work the customer base.
