Is it a standard that carriers WILL NOT extend coverage outside of America, it's territories/possession & Canada?

In my experience, most standard carriers will not. So many factors go into your question. The type of risk itself, the current geo political climate of where the insured needs to operate. The duration of the insured operating overseas. ACE (now Chubb) has a product I believe for insureds that need to travel overseas for a period. If you can give more insight into the operations of your client. That would be helpful.

under home & auto.

chubb does & so does Encompass (except they won't extend coverage to mexico.)

on the commercial side.. yes it is a standard exclusion .. UNLESS suit is brought in the US.. then its covered.
