The risk with the work you do isn't so much what actually happens, its what is accused of happening.
For instance, someone gets into a crash, says the brakes failed, some 'expert' decides it was caused by additional stuff done to the car, which means YOU. Now, no proof it wasn't your work, though probably wasn't.
Lawsuits are filed by 'implying', not by facts. This is the risk.
