61 yr old female high cholesterol, high blood 160/90, takes meds for both lipitor and cozaar and she is a tobacco user.

Depends . . .

Golden Rule, Humana, (maybe) KP will probably make an offer unless she is overweight. Don't expect anything competitive.

Aetna, Coventry & BX will reject her.

Time might make an offer but don't expect much there either.

She is a heart attack or stroke waiting to happen.

Is this a relative? Why are you wasting your time?

She has HBP, CHOL - likely other stuff you don't know yet (or may never know)- who knows but here is the kicker she is 61 AND with these issues SMOKES!!!

She is not "with the program", I would send her to a "high risk" , HIPAA / Group plan - I know you are trying to help (and make commission) but she clearly has a disregard for her well being.

Sorry to be so brutal , but it is the honest truth.

Amen to that.

Maybe they're an "impaired risk" specialist?
