Liberty Health - ACUSA Membership Plan Review

Hi ,

I am Indian citizen. I am in California , USA on work visa ( H1-B visa). I did not have Health Insurance. I am here with my family (my wife and son). Here in USA I came to know that Health Insurance is mandatory. So I re-searched and finally taken a Health Insurance policy. I have taken Liberty Health - ACUSA Membership Plan . It says that "The plan is provided through a membership in the Alliance for Consumers USA (ACUSA) which includes Limited Medical Insurance Coverage underwritten by AXIS Insurance Company, as well as several other savings benefits and programs".
So if someone can please provide review of this plan and policy?
How good is this Health Insurance policy?
Does it full-fill the mandatory requirement of Health Insurance to avoid Penalty while filing tax return?

Chances are if it is a membership plan, it is not a ACA plan. The agent who sold it to you should have went over everything with you. If you bought it on your own, you are alone. I would try and find a agent licensed in CA here on the forum or in your local area.
