Anybody using Liberty Mutual a lot to write commercial lines? Any thoughts on the good...the bad?

Considering contracting with them...and it looks like they have a big appetite

I use them for a lot. They have written some really tough risks for us, but we also put a lot of our new producers through their school. It allows us to ask for favors when we need them and it seems to be working out for both sides.

Their online system for quoting is fairly simple to use, but if it is outside their wheelhouse, you're quick to get a decline without being able to move forward.

Which Liberty Mutual company? I have Ohio Casualty which is good on the Main Street stuff including contractors. Like all Liberty Companies personal or commercial you have to watch the renewals as they like jack up the price

Liberty Mutual writes contracts of all sizes. The larger contracts
fit in to their Construction Unit that requires a larger premium but has a
    broad appetite.
