I was on LinkedIn over the weekend. If you aren't already aware, here is a nice function it provides.
When you are adding connections, you may have noticed there is an import from contacts. The system scans your emails to find connections. Well, this only goes so far. It won't scan emails from a web domian, like your website. Only gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.
Just to the right, I noticed a text box where you can put a list of emails only. I pasted all my clients emails into it from my database and hit the invite button. It instantly invited my book of business in seconds. I've been getting a fast connection with all my clients. I found this to be an easy and automated way to keep yourself connected with your book of business and perhaps get some referrals too.
Just go to Connections->Add Connections and look to the right. It'll show Enter Email Addresses. Just paste your clients emails there.
