Um... not exactly. Larger financial companies are deemed SIFI and therefore are deemed to require more regulation because their failure could be catastrophic to the overall economy.

Government has no interest in AIG.. Not only was the bail out repaid, they repaid it with interest.. Didn't cost the taxpayer a dime.
