LLC Non resident licensing

I am new to the independent brokerage, but have been in insurance for 15 years as career/captive.

I recently created an LLC for my agency.

My question is this...

If get a new non resident license, do I need to purchase both as individual producer AND agency, or will agency be enough?

I have a client moving to Tennessee in a few months and would consider getting licensed there, but not for both fees.

Thanks!!

Think of it like this...The "agency" is just and entity. It has no hands to write with. You are the principle and the writer. You must be licensed as an individual before you can be licensed as a corp.

I hope this helps.
