I'm looking to get contracted with HSBC, and am having a hard time finding a source.

Anyone here GA, or have a source they can share?

Thanks.

Here's one choice. I am not appt'd with them, but have looked at the product here. No affiliation with them.

HSBC requires you to market through a website or a call center to get a contract.

Dear Agent,

HSBC Insurance has recently completed a strategic review of our life
insurance distribution and marketing channels. As a result, we have
made the decision to discontinue selling through the independent agent
network at this time.

Due to this change, you will no longer be able to sell the HSBC product
and your system access and licensing appointments will be terminated
effective Friday, October 17, 2008 at approximately 11:00PM EST.

You will receive any commissions owed to you for pending cases that
subsequently become approved policies.

We thank you for your past support of our program and wish you continued
success. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to
contact our Customer Service group at 1-877-268-0990.

Sincerely,

HSBC Insurance

Well isn't that nice. No indies.

A little confused on the call center website thing. So if I set up a website to sell insurance, I can contract with them?

I had a website, thru the agency that contracted me. I interpreted the email to indicate they were just going direct.

Another possibility is, they only want to work thru hi volume agencies.

No sweat.

You can check with markingriffin. I think I found this from his site www (dot).elifemarketers (dot) com

Hope it helps,

Here's the main site: elifepolicy (dot) com

I spoke with their biggest marketer and this is what they told me.

"they have changed who they will work with. The agent/entity has to either be a call center or a business model that is fully ecommerce. They don't want independents speaking directly with the prospects unless it's from a call center environment. OR, as a consumer only response at a web site, so most agents get bounced from access to this product."

You may want to contact elifepolicy and Efinancial.com to inquire about HSBC. They both currently have agreements in place.
