I have 30 agents that do final expense full time, and we are growing very rapidly. We are looking for a Medicare advantage specialist that has a lot of experience cross selling FE direct mail leads with MA. If we find the correct fit we would like to offer a partnership with this specialist to have a cut of all our Medicare business, with our current and future agents. We would like to make a partnership significant enough to keep this Medicare training specialist extremely invested in the success of all of our agents. If any of you know of a beast agent with high integrity that would be open to discussing an opportunity like this please send me a PM!

Training on MA is a huge pita, there are a lot of compliance issues as I'm sure you're well aware.

I sell mostly Med Supp and DSNP. I'm always attending trainings offered by the carriers re DSNPs in the off-season. A lot of agents tune out when they hear about "QMB, SLMB, Extra Help, SPAPs," etc.

A few years back I trained a fellow agent on MA who mostly sold FE and Med Supp. He was initially terrified of MA due to the compliance issues. We then hooked up with a regional carrier who offered free leads (with reduced comp) to do sales seminars. I did it for two seasons for the public speaking opportunity and he's still with them. Last season he killed it with them. I asked how he was able to write 7-8 apps average after each sales seminar, right there on the spot. He said, "oh, they just fill out the app there and we both sign it. I'm not checking their doctors or anything." I'm still reeling from this, and waiting for a complaint. He started off so timid and each appointment lasted two hours!

Every now and then I'll get someone with a big book of business (such as a P&C agent) want me to train their life guys to do MA. Once I start rambling on about SOAs, compliance, etc their eyes glaze over. They can start off working in a call center like I did then learn out in the field and by attending trainings.

If I'm interpreting your request right, one of the members here, "Medicare Millionair" might be a good fit for this type of partnership.

He's certainly a stand up guy with a good reputation. Whether or not he has time for this type of opportunity IDK, but you might want to reach out to him.

I know him personally b/c we live in the same town.

It sounds to me like this specialist needs to be a regular part of this team, like "on-call" or something.

I stand behind my statement that a lot of agents don't want to deal with what it takes to deal with DSNPs, either.
