I am an independent agent who is looking for a split commission arrangement in all 50 states or as many as possible. I sell long term care insurance. I am interested in a split commission with the following companies: Bankers life, northwestern mutual, mass mutual, new york life, and state farm. Please respond to this thread. Thanks.

Northwestern Mutual is a captive company and you can only sell their products if you are a career agent with them.

NYL will let you, if you are doing 5-figure cases with them. I believe that they are no longer selling LTC in any way.

    State Farm is also captive.

MassMutual will let you broker with them. Contact your local GA or find a large BGA firm to partner with that offers their contract.

I can't tell you much about Banker's Life. Last I checked, you have to be a captive agent to sell their products.

So, assuming that you want to avoid being a captive agent, just find a BGA (brokerage general agency) or IMO (independent marketing organization) that offers MassMutual.

I'd check in the LTC forum and ask around in there.
