I have been in the insurance field for over five years and want to make this a real career. I am interested in purchasing a book of life and or final expense business. Anyone know how I would go about finding someone interested in selling?

I doubt there is much of a market or value in that. What makes you interested in that kind of book as opposed to a more stable product like p&c?

It is what I specialize, so what I know best. I have my p& c license, but never use it.

Every so often you can come across one. Usually someone retiring. I found one the other month but can't get a response from the company selling. The guy is 86 and selling his agency with book of business. All he left to contact him was an email, I left him 3 emails so far with no response. I found it on oak street's website.
