Actually, the owner of this website can determine what he will and won't allow, so we have no rights here other than what the owner of the website allows. History tells us he's fairly liberal with what he allows (not to be confused with a political stance). However, there is a section on this forum specifically for politics and religion. The original post really has nothing to do with "insurance". This section is the "Senior INSURANCE Forum" (emphasis added) section.

Dang, went on a sells call today and sold a policy. We talked about fishing most of the time though... should I take the app back? I would hate to have talked about fishing too much when I should have been talking about INSURANCE.

Well, when talking with a potential client you should get to know your clients interests. It's part of building rapport with the prospect. But that has nothing to do with what is appropriate for this section of the forum. As I said, this particular section is the Senior Insurance Forum. You know, where we discuss insurance topics for seniors?

Now, if you started a thread about "How much do you actually talk about insurance on appointments?", then what you mentioned above would be perfectly appropriate. But when someone titles their thread like this one, it really has nothing to do with insurance. Furthermore, there's no factual evidence to support the accusations made.

This particular section of the forum stays fairly civil. There's a section on the forum to get all the political porn you can handle. And if you want to call each other names and get into d1ck measuring contests, the FE section is perfect for that.

I didn't have an appointment today, but I did complete two LTC e-apps and get a completed and signed MAPD app in the mail. Didn't have to leave the house. The LTC apps were from existing Med Supp clients so all we talked about was insurance. I didn't hate it as much as you evidently would have.

He's like his old Pop... He's in special school for the slow and hard of hearing. ( I would add, follicly challenged but he has enough for 4 or 5 other guys... I really jealous.)

Just kidding... he is up north in college. He'll be home soon for break. He is the real fisherman in the family, like my dad. I just go for the stories and to drink coffee.

I was picturing a Jr. High aged kid. I'm not a fisherman either, never had the patience.
