I just got a call today from my friend who was cancelled on
2-1-12 from his MA plan due to lack of Part B penalty payments. I was the original AOR. Anybody had a situation like this? Can the mb appeal the disenrollment and get re-instated? would he be successful? No other SEP exists for him. The only SEP that I can think of would be if he could probably "move in" to my address and then move back to his address (we live in different parts of Tex) so that he could have a special election; SEP-move.
I hate that the gov't makes us play these games so that ppl can get coverage:(
