Is an inpatient hospital stay covered at 100%? Can the various Part B services of a hospital stay be billed at the "up to $20" copayment that's listed ?

Copayment applies only to doctor office visit (20% not to exceed $20). Only--and unlikely--patient cost for a hospital stay is excess charges for docs.

All one needs is an outline of coverage to easily compare the two. Not rocket science folks.
It's a little more than that. If a person doesn't understand Part B excess charges, they won't really know the potential cost and/or savings. And believe it or not, there are many who don't understand Part B excess charges. That certainly isn't rocket surgery, but some folks don't take the time to educate themselves.
