Trying to review 2018 unsubsidized options for my wife coming off $560/mo cobra coverage.

In KS, excluding Wyandotte and Johnson counties, the ACA options are:
bcbsKS -- EPO $650 +/-
Medica Connect -- PPO $730 or $780 Bronze
Medica Connect -- EPO

The EPO option worries me because for travel outside 103 KS counties, there is no coverage.

On the other hand, I've never heard of Medica.

2 questions:

Is Medica a reputable/reliable health insurance carrier to do business with?

Would someone be willing to provide loss ratio information for Medica (for KS if it is split out that way)?

Thanks.

You are constantly avoiding using an insurance agent.

You want Lost Dollar to use an agent?? What agent do you hate the most? There isn’t an agent on this Forum that would want LD as a client. If LD was your client, he would call you every day, five days a week. No insurance company could pay you a high enough commission to offset the time LD would drain from you. Personally, I already have enough clients with way too much time on their hands.
