No, they can switch as much as they want up til their Bday month, then they can only switch once more during the last 3mos.

What election code would use to switch a MA/pdp 3 months after aging month once IEP is used up?Using IEP again would be a considered fraudulent and I am not aware of any SEP for this.
BTW changing from PDP to MA before IEP effective date does not require cancellation of in force PDP whereas switching from one MA to another MA before the IEP effective date does.

No, once plan chosen during IEP takes effect the IEP is used up. No one more time afterward. It's AEP or some SEP only.

Yeah my bad....before your Bday month, u can change as often as you'd like. But if you DIDNT use that, then u can pick a plan 1 time the last 3mos of your IEP!
Its not both, its either/or.
