Medicare Advantage coverage for groceries?

My apology Greg.

I don't know if you are a bedwetter or not.

Guess it depends . . .

To please Dayton . . .

There are no free lunches.

Carriers don't print money. Funding for MA plans come from DC who takes it from the earners and gives it to the takers.

All these programs, including free food, come from taxpayers by way of the middleman.

That would be DC

So yes, it DOES matter to me if the carriers want to offer free food with my money.

I saw that this morning. It's going to get very interesting this AEP seeing who provides the most additional benefits. I have several clients who swear by the $10 OTC benefit from Humana. Now we get to add groceries to the list. This is going to be fun!
$10??
Where are you guys working?
Our OTC benefits are now $75/Q = $300/year.

Getting back to how meals will work, I was told by a Humana guy that after a qualifying hospital stay, Humana will send out 20 frozen meals to the beneficiary.

Or, something like that.

That’s been around in FL for a few years at least.
