ClientsCblie live overseas (and have for years) and are going to be moving back to the U.S. in the next few years. They are currently 63 and 59. Do you know if there are any restrictions as far as their Medicare eligibility? They are both U.S. Citizens. Also, when they move back, they would plan on traveling/living overseas for 6 or so months out of the year. I know Medicare won’t cover their medical needs while traveling, but are there any requirements for the amount of time they stay in the U.S. to stay on Medicare? I did some looking around and I don’t think so, but wanted to see if you had any thoughts.
I think as long as they have contributed the 40 quarters then they should be fine at 65 correct?
