Can anyone tell me which med supp company has the best rates in GA? And, if you can sell it over the phone, that would be a bonus. Thanks.

The most competitive carriers currently in Georgia are New Era Life, Continental Life and AFLAC. Who's the cheapest will depend on area and age. I chose not to appoint with AFLAC for a couple of reasons. The main reason is their terminology in their contract and the second is because of their affiliation with AIMC.

New Era has an online app which makes the enrollment process a breeze. You just complete it online and the carrier then does a verification call. Continental Life isn't quite as easy. They still have a paper app. I mail it for signatures and fax it in the Continental Life.

Just a heads up on New Era, on T65 business you take a 50% cut on commissions and only get $25 for GI business.

My first thought, too. Not Continental. They pay full comp on OE and GI. My OE:UW ratio is 20:1 so it's No Era for me.
