Medicare Training

I had a similar experience with Chris.
Joined his site and found that most of it wasn’t applicable to my success. No need to mention any opinion on him as a person as it’s each individuals own experience. I found I was able to break into a separate line of insurance ( Medicare ) by trying things out for myself and not following anyone. Trial and error and nothing more than hard work.

If you can find a system and "script" that fits your style, go with it. It is almost impossible to succeed doing and saying things that don't match who you are.

Certainly nothing wrong with finding scripts or ad copy then modifying to fit your way of doing things. At the same time, reinventing the wheel isn't always necessary.

Systems and scripts can work when properly applied. But if what you are expected to do isn't "natural" for you it won't be effective.

Most sales situations require people to move outside their comfort zone, and that is fine. But when you feel the process goes against your ethical or moral code you need to move on or make changes that will work for you.

There are a lot of great people that will help you on this forum if you can get past all the banter. I am with Somarco, you have to take any advice and scripts you get and make them your own. A great appointment is a naturally flowing conversation that ends in a sale.

Warning, shameless self-promotion since SMS was brought up:
We (Senior Marketing Specialists) do a weekly 20-30 min weekly webinar called Medicare Cafe Tuesdays at 10:00am (CST). We change the topics weekly, have a guest here and there, and try to make it as interesting as possible.

PLUS, no marketing call when you register (or based on being a part of the Medicare Cafe), no requirements to contract to be a part of the Cafe, and at least one bad joke per week.
