of Insureme. Tim McTavish, who used to work at MetLife (seriously), founded Insureme in 1993. Tim will get $65 million and incentives since he'll continue to run the day-to-day operations.

    $65 million, is that all?

Whatever happened to MetLife's Rick Urso. Local guy. I think he sued Met for about twenty million and won?

And NetQuote is owned by a hedge fund.

Not many independents left in lead generation.

No. Maybe you can Google it to get details. I actually got word of it last week.

Yeah, we're all in the wrong business. Even at $2 net profit per lead and say country wide you're generating 500 leads a day it's 3.5 mill a year.

I remember him. IN MY OPINION...he was a crook. His office was crooked.

I was not aware that he won. He was going to sue along with four others.

And I think I'll stop there.

Hehe. It was soooo long ago, I had to google it to refresh my memory.

He (Daniel "Rick" Urso) was a Met manager here on the West Coast of Florida, famous for selling life insurance as "supplemental retirement plans for nurses" (James - do you use this one?)...

When the sh*t hit the fan, it splattered far and wide. Met fired him as a "rogue" agent...

Problem was, he had all these Met-distributed materials (videos, manuals, etc.) actually TEACHING other Met agents his concepts and methods!

Long story short...he sued for defamation...20 million...and WON!

I was not aware that he won. Of course it's been a while.

    "Met-distributed materials"

Ugh...not quite. The third word is correct...but not the first two. He altered a lot of materials.
