Mississippi Out of State License

I've got a client in my home state of IL who wants to buy life insurance policies on her nephews in Mississippi. I'm assuming that I will need signatures from the parents in Mississippi so I will need my out of state license.

I've never done an out of state life policy, only securities and annuities. Is this an easy process?

I would check with the carrier you plan to use first. Generally you need to be licensed in the state of the owner. Will it be the parents or the grandparents? If it is the grandparents, make sure they are ok with that too. Some carriers get touchy about who is allowed as owner.
