MLR For Small and Large Groups

Hi Everyone,

Since the MLR only applies to small and large groups and if we sell to individuals and families is it best to get contracted direct with the carriers?

My understanding is they pay more than through the agencies.

Does anyone know what GR, Humana, Assurant pays if you go direct? How much is the advance/months?
And how and when do you get paid?

Its low... real low no matter what you do..... agencies may pay a point more but you most times assign commissions(bad deal)

why in gods name would anyone want to get a contract with a health carrier if you have never done or not activily doing health?.... most said screw it

You are sadly mistaken my friend...MLR applies to IFP as well.
