MOO (United World) Plan N - Pricey in CA

I was just looking at prices for the plan N in my area and noticed that United World prices are not very competitive.

California is slow to approve, and we don't have much to choose from but here is some samples with UW and AARP Female non-smoker.

Although a lot of seniors I run into will not sign up with AARP at any price, there is a big difference.

Has anyone seen any other companies in Ca that can compete with AARP?

I don't know the zip codes you are looking at but United World's premiums for Plan N start at, for a 65 yr old, non tobacco, $94.53 and go as high as $130.12 depending on the zip code. The rates also appear to be the same for male and female.

25-99 17%

Yes, the rate is the same for both male and female. The zip code is 92656. This is from their rate book I got from the MOO website.

Also, your commission with AARP/UHC usually vanishes after the 6th year. Not with Anthem.
