Have a clients child moving to Manhattan. He wont have a vehicle but may borrow a buddies car every once in a while.

Do you advise people with out an owned vehicle to have a named operator policy?

My own kid lives in Manhattan and I tell her don't drive there ever. Yeah she could get a policy for a lot of money wasted. Chances are she would screw up her driving record since almost every day there is some kind of accident, cars don't stop and police may or may not respond. Its not worth it for a small town kid with limited driving to begin with to get on the roadways there.

I'd like to get a quote. I'm also in a Manhattan and would like it for rental situations so I would need to purchase only collision coverage at the time of rental.
Does this provide uninsured and underinsured coverage as well as liability coverage?
