Can anyone recommend a place to go for LTD? I normally only do P & C, but a client is now looking for LTD and term life.

Suggest going to the disability forum (LTD), this is LTC forum. Or maybe you are confused?

If LTD, depends on what type of work they do, and income levels.

The best carrier would depend on the clients occupation.

Guardian is one of the best for medical fields.

For white collar you could look at Guardian, Ameritas, Assurity, or Met.

For blue/grey collar look at Assurity or MoO.


If you want the life and DI to be with the same carrier, Assurity would probably be your best all around bet.

I would add Principal and Ohio National to the list as these can be solid value options.
