Need advice re structured settlements

Thought I would investigate getting into the structured settlement market. Wondering if attorney firms either hire an agent, do a joint venture and bring an agent in on that basis or some other venue?

If anyone has any experience in this I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have had some expereicne in the purchasing of the payments from the annuitant. What I can tell you is its a good ole boys club and the lawyers sometimes get insurance licnesed to collect the commisisons of the structured settlement annuity that needs to be purchased as a result of the settlement. There are also insurance agencies that specialize in SSA transactions, writing the life insurance for life contigent transactions, and such.

Big, big tickets. $100,000 transactions. It's like 401(k) hunting....youre going to be up late, banging on alot of doors, more no's then you ever heard in your life, long term business developement....weeks invested to have a deal fall through on the 25th hour....but when you hit one....its going to be like you won the lottery.
