Long time agent on here and I need some insight from a local professional out in that area for a minor child of theirs. Child is covered by mom's group plan, but they are getting push back from Cigna on some treatments for the child.

If I could get a phone number for one of you CA locals I'd appreciate it. Too in detail to discuss on the forum.

    Thank You
    Gordon Brown

Seriously? No members in the San Diego or Del Mar area?

I don't think you will get any answers regarding claims and benefits, why would an agent take on that responsibility after the fact?

I do it for long term clients (sometimes) but agents have no influence on how companies pay claims and every situation is different.

There are companies that specialize in helping people with these situations, that might be the best option for them.

    Not about claims.

We are wondering if it would be better to put the child on her own individual plan verses having the Cigna group plan.

Anyone that has insight into mental healthcare and the ease of dealing with insurance issues in regards to the two.

    Thanks again.
