What is the current street level commissions an agent should expect to receive for selling MA, MAPD and Medicare Supplement plans in the State of California for the first year sales and future residuals?

MA limits are set by the socialists in DC. $500/250. Supplements vary by company. With few exceptions, there is no reason to go through an FMO in CA.

What have you been offered and by whom?

It is an FMO and they pay $355 for UHC MA, $330 for Humana MA and 15% for Moo supps and 18% for Loyal American. Not sure about renewal rates.

Loyal American is not in CA so don't know how they pay you 18% for a product that's not here.

However, they obviously are paying much lower than street for UHC and Humana. You are being paid as a solicitor rather than agent and I would be willing to bet that commissions are being assigned to the FMO.

Unless there are a ton of leads (lay downs), I see nothing that will benefit you out of this arrangement. I believe 15% for MoO is correct for street level.

If those are the rates that they're paying you for new business ( not renewal), then get the hell out of there quickly. Street levels for a renewal MA are $252 and ICEP (new business) $454.

Actually the allowable commission for those who are new to MA plans (not necessarily ICEP) is $504.
