Need Suggestions

I have a client looking for coverage for her grandson; he lives in Georgia. He has monthly ( maybe more frequently ) epileptic seizures, and is taking two meds. He needs some type of coverage and Ga. has no high risk pool. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you talking about Life or Health Insurance?

"High risk pool" leads me to believe it's health insurance....

He needs health insurance. I tried Aetna, Assurant, BXBS, Kaiser, and GR but none will insure him.

It's too high risk to insure. Florida has a Kid Care program, maybe Ga does. If not, get familiar with the county clinic and hospital system. They sometimes have programs.

Thanks, I thought he was most likely uninsurable. If he were to go to work for a company that offers group, will he qualify or can the group deny him coverage for the epilepsy?
