Came across a situation where I can't find a medsupp for this guy. He's on a UOO policy that has gone up to $275 a month now. He takes gabapentin for peripheral neuropathy (not caused by diabetes). Anybody have any thoughts? I'm in TX. Thanks!

I've gotten a couple of people on Gabapentin approved through Everest. But I've had a few turned down lately who answered no to every question on the application. I'd look at Everest.

Put him on a MAPD for 12 months and then rewrite his Med Sup next AEP to lowest one available since Mutual will probably have changed companies by then. Before anyone comments you still have to go back to one of Mutual's companies that is not true. I have done it myself a few times. Obviously you need to make sure he hasn't been on an MA plan in the past and used his 12 month trial period.
