I stumbled onto the site, and I am glad I did. I think I can really benefit from a group like this. I am an independent agent, and my focus has been the senior market. My dad has been in the insurance business for 30+ years, but his health is deteriorating quickly. I have been in the business for about 6 years, but I still haven't "made it." I want my dad to know that he doesn't have to worry about me. Call it a New Year's resolution or whatever works, but I need to do something. I think being able to bounce ideas and thoughts off others that have gone before me will make a significant difference in my business. Hopefully I can learn from the successes and failures of many of you. I have had my share of failures, but I think that's ok as long as I learn from my mistakes. Looking forward to a great 2008! Ouch, that was corny, my apologies!
