New Producer Looking To Sell Multiple Lines Could Use Some Advice Please

Thank you in advance for any consideration anyone here may be able to offer for my current situation.
I am recently licensed in P&C and also Life, Accident,& Health in Pennsylvania. My brief description is that I am interested in offering Medical Supplement insurance as an Independent Agent. However, to take advantage of my multiple lines of authority and supplement my income, I am in discussion with a Captive Farmers agent to possibly sell P&C as a part time commission based producer for his agency.
My overall question is there any reason why I can't sell Med Supps as an independent and also sell P&C for his agency?
I am a layman, so I apologize for any naivety in terms of my question and situation, but would be much appreciative for any input that could shed some light for me. Thanks again

You will need to go look their contract if that is allowed. I would recommend partnering up with an independent agency as they can be more flexible with outside activities.
