hey there, just passed the life exam in ma. sent my application for license 2 days ago. first of all this board has just about everything i need to learn the ropes of the life insurance business.glad to be here.
im sure youve gotten these questions before, but whats the best way to go about learning this business and making money at the same time? when i first decided to get licensed the idea was to work for my self, after some research, i dont really think i can afford to do that yet, thats the long term goal anyway. my question i guess what type of jobs should i be looking at, big companies, small companies, im looking to learn the business and not starve. some time down the road id like to be completely independant working for myself.
i appreciate any replies or advice you guys might have
thanks and god bless

Welcome to the forum. You'll learn a lot about the business by spending some time here everyday. But I believe you still need in the field training. I've heard NYL has good training although I have no personal experience with them.

I'm sure some other folks will chime in with suggestions. Best of luck!
