Thanks everybody for some great info. I havent exactly figured out how I am going to arrange the content, but I think I am going to go with local info., fun info., and insurance info but, I just havent decided where I am going to get the information for the newletter. I think I am going to send out snail mail newsletter on the first of the month and a smaller version e-newsletter in the middle of the month does this sound like a good idea. Also if i want to use bulk rate mail does the newsletter have to be a tri-fold.

We also found that by sending our newsletter twice a year to our prospect files(currently at 4,600) our hit ratio climbed up a few more points. Not sure if the ROI is there in the first year, but if retention stays constant it should be fine. I also think prospects are thinking "why doesn't my agent do this"
