Hello,
Let me start by saying that I passed the NJ property portion of the P&C exam this past Tuesday. I used ExamFx for my pre-licensing. Whatever you choose, make sure that it is an approved provider of the NJ Dept. of Banking and Insurance. Here are some tips that may be helpful for you and anyone who is going to take this exam.

1.Learn the material. With ExamFx, you have to go through all of the material because the way they set it up, you can't advance to the next section until you go through the material and take the end of section quiz.

2.Print out the test outline. This allows you to focus on the areas that are going to be on the exam.

3. Information Dump. I did not do this, but at the testing center, they give you a pencil and scratch paper (they also had calculators, but I had my own). I know Kaplan recommends this. They say this is helpful if you forget some things.

4. Go over notes on exam day. I had some one drive me to the testing site (Secaucus,N.J.) and I took my ExamFx tip sheet with me which was very helpful because there was a question that I had just looked over on my tip sheet which I hadn't focused on during my practice exams.

The exam is not that difficult if you know the material. I left 2 questions unanswered because I didn't remember ever seeing them, It was crazy:err:.
but ExamFx practice exams were really helpful, but use whatever program that you want to. Also, I chose to take the property and casualty seperatly
because together, it was just too much information, too many questions.
I'll be taking the casualty exam in 2 weeks. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to help. Good Luck
