Heard Northwestern Mutual just increased long term care insurance premiums on in force policies.

    Can anyone confirm?

How much is the rate hike?

Knowing NWM if they did this it was for the agents. This rewards agents who stayed with their policies and service them.

I am not sure I follow? To get a rate increase passed, the insurance company needs to document its claims exceed the loss ratio.

How does agent satisfaction, reward and retention play into this??

Yes, that does not surprise me.
Scott, have you heard anything about MM possibly pulling out of LTC altogether by the end of next year?
