In agent forums-there are thousands of people who read this site daily, why allow non-agents to post advice and comment about topics without the proper credentials?

Why not require an active NPN with registration?

All it does, in my opinion (and others) is diminish this site...

for one we have consumers posting question's............

And there is a forum for posting those questions, allow consumers in those sites (and prospective agents in the pre-licensing and other related forums) and keep them out of the forums where agent input should be required.

There is another group that requires licenses, or at least use to do so.

Head over there if that is what you want. Most people who were active on both dropped it in favor of this one.

but what if they have a question to post in a existing thread in the agent forum....

Then call those people 'Consumers' rather than 'Guru' when they register an account.

Doesn't it bother you that non-agents can post anything they want about any topic and easily mislead others that they have real knowledge?

Yes, especially when non-agents troll the forum posting 1,000 times in several months on topics of which they have no first hand knowledge.

It's become more than just an annoyance. People might think they actually have some value.
