IM trying to get direct with auto carriers with no P&C book of business, we are 5 months open now they all tell me we need to be at least 2 years in p&c with a book of business, any advise??

Were you a producer for another agency prior, or are you brand new? If you've produced elsewhere, can you obtain production and loss reports to show the carrier(s) you're talking to? How are you writing business now?

Basically, unless you can show them you are capable of producing and can make a volume commitment, you either are going to be writing through a wholesaler/brokerage with no binding authority, or you need to join a group/cluster/aggregator.

Is that suppose to be an MGA that gives binding authority? What are the member fees?
