I don't think 1 cigarette would matter. This guy says he smokes a couple times a year. Why would he even mention it? Most likely he smokes more than that.
 
As with everything else people tell me, I have to assume they are being honest unless proven otherwise.

I have had 2 or maybe 3 underwritten Medigap apps where the person lied. All were declined when underwriters pulled the Rx history. One lady told me she only took one cholesterol med. Seems her Rx history indicated she took, or at least were prescribed, half a dozen med's in the last 2 years including one that is commonly used for COPD.

I operate from the position if I know about it then it will go on the app.
