My wife needed to change her health coverage, an annual plan renewed yearly (that year is up March 31) to another annual plan. The only one she could find and get the doctor she wanted BEGINS May 1....so she signed up for it. Apparently all the plans she looked at have only annual contracts, nothing shorter term.
This leaves her uncovered for the month of April. I searched and cannot find anything that works in Massachusetts for one month. Those available work only annually for this state.
So I ask the informed readers here.....Is there a company or organization that will insure the health of my wife for the month of April?? Doesn't have to be superb coverage....just something to protect us at least partially for 30 days.
